Adam Roberts is the author of a critical guide to SF, Science Fiction (Routledge New Critical Idiom, 2000) amongst various academic publications. Salt (2000) was his first novel and was followed by On (2001), Stone (2002) and Polystom (2003). He currently lives to the west of London with his wife Rachel and daughter Lily.
